BW Retro Beast

Because of his vibrant beast mode, Retro knows that there has to be dry land somewhere on the strange water world that he and his crew (and their enemies) are stranded on. In the mean time, he has to float on the surface, or fly above it. Sure he can dive a little bit, but he wasn't designed for it, not like Ice Berg with his penguin body. Fortunately his robot mode can go underwater easily, allowing him access to the crash ship that serves as his crew's base of operations. But still.. two "bird-formers" in the crew, there has to be nesting ground somewhere...right?

Flamingos.. are not as easy as one might think. Their wings are somewhat complicated to pull off because of their dual colors. And the legs are practically unnatural looking no matter what way you look at them. But I found some good images as references, though I did have to go back and edit both this and the robot mode picture because I had the nostrils in the wrong spot.
I figure if this guy were made into a toy, he'd probably have to be at least a deluxe class, but I think he would probably have been an odd Mega class toy. I say this mainly because I think the engineering for everything would involve more plastic than what even an old style deluxe would have.
