Revised Power Rangers Movie Logo

When the logo for the new movie came out, I did not like it. I felt it deviated too far from the branding we have all come to know and love. So I thought, I'm a designer, don't complain, make a better one. And here we are.

I modified the standard Power Rangers logo font and added the traditional thunderbolt. I then stylized everything to match the actual movie logo.The most time consuming part was doing all the 3D extrusions. There were multiple angles and layers that just made everything a jumbled mess before it was done. In the end though I absolutely love how this came out.
