Stan Stanley Elementary Logo

Above you will find what I consider one of my first big logo projects. After I completed working on my contact for that project moved on to what was then a brand new elementary school for the district that had not even opened yet. Remembering me, she requested that I create the logo for this new school. She told me that their mascot was the "Stampede", so I initially created several cartoon and serious looking horse designs. After I completed these, I had looked at a horseshoe I had drawn the margins and chuckled at the idea that two of them together would create an "S". I threw that design in with the others and didn't give it much thought. When the school saw it, they fell in love. They had me make a few changes and the above is the result.

Like the Mayde Creek Elementary Logo, I made sure that this logo was used in all their stationary and other media. Though I didn't have to try very hard because the adapted it very thoroughly and, as of this posting, can be seen used through out the school.
